Back and bigger than ever!!

Wow! What a year 2020 has been! After running An Ink In Twine for 2 years in February things were going great, I’d finally been able to start offering shipping to overseas countries and had posted nearly 30 orders to the USA in 3 weeks when BAM! Covid hit.

As a small business owner this was absolutely gutting! To have something that you had thrown everything in to for 2 years to literally be taken away in the space of 5 days broke my heart. It was absolutely gutting because worst of all there was nothing I could do about it. This business has been my baby for so long that I honestly felt lost not being able to make orders  and interact with all my wonderful customers!

I gave myself a few weeks to think about where to next while the world was in this stage of uncertainty... then I decided I was going to study. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time but with 3 kids and a full time handmade business I had no idea how that would happen. So I thought this was the right time.... and in 3 months time I will be a qualified florist!!! 💐💐💐

Whilst life is crazy right now trying to keep up with everything, this is super exciting as it means there will be some very exciting things coming from An Ink In Twine in the future! Unfortunately I can only offer fresh flowers to those in Brisbane, however dried flowers are definitely in the works and even better they can be used after the event!

Flower Crowns, fresh vases of flowers, bouquets, posies, dried flower confetti throws, corsages and buttonholes are some of the goodies I cannot wait to be creating for you all and I’ll be working on some package options (to include fresh flowers, sashes, games and cake toppers) very soon for your baby showers, bridal showers, hens nights, weddings and parties! Yay!!!! 🎉🎉🎉
